Hocking Hills

We had a fabulous time with the Clark family.  They were kind enough to take us repelling.  The kids had a wonderful time.  Isabelle couldn't get enough of it.  It was a little funny... she barely weighed enough to get the rope to slide through the figure 8.  Ashley was so sweet with Victoria.  I swear she asked her 50 times what her name was.  Melanie, as always, was wonderful... packing lunch for all of us plus some!  It was neat to watch the kids.  Lyle, the bishop of our ward, was coaching the kids.  He has already won their love... he gives out candy after church!  Plus the kids love it when he teases a little.  It was amazing to me how they instantly trusted him.  There was no hesitation, they listened to what he said & did it the best they could.  He has such a calm voice. Melanie was at the bottom giving encouragement & instruction.  The kids also have taken a liking to her.  She puts a seminary question in the program each week.  When they find the answer & reference they show her & in turn she gives them a treat... geddes' love treats!  I'm sure this will be an experience they will look back on in years to come & have fond memories of.
