First Snow

What a fun surprise to wake up & find everything blanketed with a fresh cover of snow.  Sam came in after waiting for the bus 15 min. & found out we were on a 2-hour delay.  The kids were ecstatic about getting to play in the new snow before school.  Unfortunately for Porter his school was running on time.  However, as soon as he arrived home he was in his snow pants running outdoors.  He was pretty excited to try & "snowboard".  He did pretty well.  We are asking Santa for a trip to Utah for Christmas.  I "think" it may be in January.  Porter can't wait to take ski lessons.  It's funny how I use to be the one that would push for the ski trips & now it's Ryan.  I had mentioned he should just take the 4 older ones & go... Southwest had flights to UT at 50% off.  I'm hoping Santa did some early shopping.  I was surprised when Ryan pushed for all of us to go.  There was no hesitation whatsoever.  Here's to hoping for a fun trip out west.

Porter had to go to school on time... he got stuck with "used" snow!

Samantha received this beautiful coat last year from our neighbor.  He works at Abercrombie & Fitch & got it for $3!  It had a small tear we sewed up.  Last year she wouldn't wear it.  Now she's in it everyday!  Another neighbor gave us Victoria's entire ensemble... boots & all!  We call her the Abominable Pink Snow Princess!
