MOVING DAY....

5 AM alarm goes off... up & at'em. Wake Sam & start movin.

I can't believe it has finally arrived! I am running around trying to finish up the last bits of packing. The kids get off to school just after the trucks arrive. Aunt Rachel takes Porter & Victoria to the zoo for one last hurrah! Bo & Grandpa Bauserman show up. Secretly I am thinking... "please let the rest of them come.... PLEASE let them come!" It's a Thursday & most normal people are working. That is not to say the Bauserman's are not normal... just family! Everyone arrives around 8:30AM (Rachel is left home to babysit Abby & Ben. I owe you some carmels!) Everyone starts moving boxes & furniture out to the drive... then the grass. The entire house is emptied by 11:00 AM. Now the waiting/packing saga. We have Jimmy... aka Jim Bob, belly & all. He is use to being boss. However, Roy is loading his truck & hence, boss. Jimmy is getting paid to help load... it's a bit much for him. By 8PM he's had his full & looses it a bit. Yes, I said 8 PM. Roy finishes packing his truck around 7PM. It is amazingly packed. The Bishop came after work & stayed until the end. The Bauserman's bid us farewell in the dark after the trucks head out. Words can't express the gratitude for the help & support. We end the night at the Harris' with a hot meal, yummy dessert & soft beds. Sleep comes difficultly & I find myself wide awake at 4AM... but that is another day!
