Unloading the Trucks...

The first truck arrived at noon. Aaron, the kids & I unloaded it. It wasn't too bad, the car, bikes, 4-wheelers, etc. Jimmy pulled out & Roy pulled in as well as a few men from church. The kids were great, they kept on moving until the last cabinet was unloaded. Aaron was a machine. I could never have made this move without him! He worked & worked & WORKED! The guys from church were wonderful. I hate asking for help. Everyone knows how much fun it is moving & unloading families... not to mention families of 8 & all their HEAVY food storage. We had all the kids' rooms put together by that evening so everyone slept in their bed that night. It was a very LONG day. I am still recovering. We spent the next few days moving things from the garage to the house & unpacking box after box after box. Monday was a fun day. Aaron rode dirt bikes & 4 wheelers with the kids, went swimming in the FREEZING pool then sat in the HOT tub. I don't think we'll need to keep the pool nearly as warm this year. The hot tub comes in quiet handy. The kids love having Aaron around. They are very bummed that he is leaving St. Louis in June for his 1 year GPR in Salt Lake City. We are hoping he finds a wife in record time then is accepted into a program in the Midwest... we are being a bit selfish! The kids LOVE Uncle Aaron. I honestly would have died without his help on this move... I am indebted, GREATLY indebted to him for all his love and support.
