The other day I was in a "Y E S" mom mood. Everything the kids asked to do I said yes to. I'm not sure what go into me? It was a fabulous day! I need to be the "YES" mom more often. Rebekah and Isabelle made loaves & loaves of zucchini bread, all by themselves. Porter created all kinds of inventions. They ended the day with a movie. Porter looked at me and said, "You say yes to EVERYTHING today! This is the best day ever! I love you mom." I wish I had more days like this. So often I get caught up in the worry of messes. The girls cleaned up after themselves, Porter put his creative tools away and what's a little bit of this or a little bit of that left around after a FABULOUS day?! My goal for the rest of the summer... (again!) become the YES mom.
