A little bit of this... a little bit of that

Life keeps kicking me in the pants.  I just can't seem to catch up.  I believe this will be the story of my life.

Christmas Tree hunting 2011
It wasn't as cold as 2010 but the tree selection was... "we should have listened to Dad and picked our tree out over Thanksgiving break!"  Again, life kicking me in the pants.  Ryan worked the entire Thanksgiving break.  However, I am beginning to enjoy our ho hum trees.  They have taken root in my heart.

Christmas 2011
Sam - Letterman's Jacket
Casey - Toms
Rebekah - Spy gear
Isabelle - Spy gear
Porter - Bow and Arrows
Victoria - Ivy
Grandpa - Fun PJ's
Ryan worked the Holidays then left with Grandpa, Sam, Casey, Rebekah & Porter for a wonderful trip to New Mexico.  They enjoyed spending the break with cousins on the slopes.  Ryan ended up with a concussion but made the drive home safely.  The kids can't wait to get together again with their Texan Cousins.  Sam is hoping for a fun EFY experience with Peyton.

New Year's Eve 2011
Pizza, cotton candy, soda, cheese puffs, games & family!  What more could you ask for?

The kids having fun one spring like afternoon.
We have had the most mild winter ever.  The mornings have been beautiful and the afternoons delightful.

SNOW DAY!
The kids put at least 20 spoons under each of their pillows in hopes of a white morning and official snow day!  They had a ball sledding over Ryan's raspberry hills.  Misty loved all the attention and even tried joining in on the sled riding.  Porter found a decomposing deer while exploring.  Ryan went back with him to claim his first rack!  Oh what a day!  All smiles & laughs.

Your little Victoria has such a sweet face. I swear you have the BEST yard EVER!! It's like a year-round, all-weather amusement park!
