I am sitting in a quiet house... warm granola fresh out of the oven on the counter, the washing machine just finished spinning and the kids are at their dental appointments! The crazy thing, I went for a run this morning and just got home. What am I going to do when Sam leaves!?!? I laugh when I think of the girl we left Ohio with... she has transformed into this capable woman (young... but still a woman). I didn't set my alarm this morning and woke up at 5:30AM instead of 5AM. The kids have to leave at 5:40AM. We had breakfast cooked and lunches packed at 5:41AM. They all walked out at 5:45AM. She is great at getting dinner started or fixing it herself. She is always helping clean up. I will miss her desperately come January.
