Early December 30th we borrowed a trailer and took a 4 hour drive North into Iowa!
Victoria was ecstatic!
Meet Indy! She is a 10yr. old Morgan-Welsh Pony cross.
She will be a little bit of a project. She hasn't been ridden in a year but the kids have a really nice trainer that is teaching them how to work with her. She has a sweet disposition. It's fun watching Porter and Victoria work together. Victoria wanted some American Girl Doll items that were pretty pricey for Christmas. I was having a hard time spending the money. Then the wild idea of getting her a pony entered the family conversation. Everyone agreed, we HAD to get her a pony! She had already proven herself last winter waking at 5AM every morning to help Izy take care of our neighbors horses from November - March. She and Porter had been taking riding lessons this past fall. Everything fell into place and she now has her own horse. Let the work begin!
