Day 1 of 2019

Rebekah left today for 18 months.  It was bittersweet.  I will miss her sweet, kind spirit and huge smile.  I am excited for the adventure that awaits her in the Dominican Republic.  Growth will come as well as experiences that will shape and influence her forever.  

Things to remember...
*the Passport drama
*the never arriving apostilled birth certificate
*Mexican police, Aunt Jeanie, seat belts and the house that didn't work
*the missing suitcase with all her mission stuff in San Antonio, Mexico, KC, Witchita, who knows where, Witchita, then finally arriving home at 10:30pm the night before she flies to the Mexico MTC!
*snuggling
*laughing
*crying
*eating ice cream
*laughing
*saying goodbye
*Trusting all will work out.

The best part of my day: Hugging and kissing Rebekah goodbye!
