Day 72

Casey had a date today.  They went snowshoeing up Little Cottonwood Canyon.  They had a hard time finding the trail with the 8 foot wall of snow from the plows. I laughed as he described finally finding the trail and the top of a speed limit sign barely above the snow.  He packed his backpacking stove and cooked hot chocolate & apple cider.  They were working on Mac-n-Cheese when some snow melted under the stove and dumped their noodles. I asked him what it is that he likes about her and he responded, she is SO kind. I love that he is an open book with a heart of gold.
