It was SO cold again!!
My brain was screaming, "What are you thinking?!?! Are you CRAZY?!?! Don't do it!!!"
But my heart was quietly reminding me to breathe and that it would all be fine.
Belaying has been one of the hardest things I've had to learn to do. I literally have Porter's life in my hands. My training was Porter giving me a 5 minute tutorial and then him jumping on a wall. That day ended with my hand stuck in the ATC, both of us hanging in the air. Thankfully I've been a quick study and have gotten pretty poficient. However, Amarrillo Sunset pushed me to my emotional limits!
