Day 177

5AM the alarm went off. We broke camp for the last time and drove into Seward. We boarded the F/V Florette at 6:45AM to do a little King Salmon fishing. The day was about over and we hadn’t caught anything but an accidental pink salmon. We were preparing ourselves to go home empty handed. But then Casey reeled on in. While dipping my line to avoid Casey’s fish getting tangled I snagged another accidental chum salmon. We are excited to eat our catch with the family.
